Bel Pesce presented this talk at a TED conference. She discusses five myths to that people believe and kill their dreams. This is a very inspiring talk.

TED talks are great! Lots of interesting things being presented to us! I liked the way she made her points in a backwards kind of way (how to kill the dreams rather than how to achieve them). I feel like the achieve your dreams speeches become stereotypical and stale, and simply reversing it puts a new energy to the words. Good find!
I agree about how the achieve your dreams speeches become rather stale. I think that it is more inspiring the way that she reverses the speech. I will definitely be getting into more TED talks. I also saw that they have TED ed, lessons for students. I'm excited to check those out!
You bet. I am starting to get into Ted talks and other podcasts. I've been listening to them while I run on the treadmill. I get to learn, and it makes the time go by faster so it's a win-win!
I love TED talks. Bel Pesce provides some great advice. I especially like her words on continuing to find new peaks and personal responsibility.
ReplyDeleteYes, she does have some great advice. I think it is refreshing to hear this advice.
